So close to the reveal and my marketing was almost complete, then disaster struck! My hard drive cracked and all was lost. I had to start from scratch, and it pained me to remake something that took so long to make. But I'm also happy I got a second chance to make it, as my writing style has greatly improved since I started Psycho Pop Playhouse.

Step 3: Getting your book off the shelves

Getting your book sold and off the shelves is one of the reasons you tried to sell them, right? It's pointless to pour this much work into something and not get anything back! But never fear: here are some ways you can make more sales and take advantage of all the previous steps!:

Reviews~ Getting reviews on Amazon will improve your sales, and boost your High Amazon Listing, but getting reviews from other writers or journalists can help you sell hard copies too! When you collect your reviews on amazon or on your webpage, they can be used to help market more of your books! They look impressive and usually if you ask, you will receive a review totally free!

Total: $0

Give Free Books To Bloggers~ or Youtubers, Journalists, Magazines or anyone who will write about or spread the word about your novel! By using their services, you can gain parts of their fanbase or readers! All it takes is one free copy to get more later, and always choose a person of similar interest or genre to your book, so their fanbase will be more likely to buy your work!

Total: $0 ebook or $3 hard copy + shipping.

Co-sign With Local Gift Shops And Specialty Shops~ As a local writer, gift shops or specialty shops in your area could be interested in selling your novel as it's local merchandise. This works best if it takes place in your city, but any local writer can co-sign with a local gift shop for some extra money and customer reach. You do have to share the profits, and sometimes you will get the lower payment amount, but the income from sales and local recognition can be worth it!

Total: $0

Galleries, Events and Booths With A Publishing Company Or Another Writer~ Find a publishing company or a writer that will allow you to have a book signing at an Event, Gallery or Booth event to bring them more attention. They can help you sell your books while you try to sell their books in return. It's an easy way to gain attention in a crowd and can increase the profits for all parties involved.

Total: $0

Donate To Charities~ By donating free ebooks or hard copies to charities, it increases your reach on people. Many people read the books donated to local libraries and children in hospitals need the reading material, so by donating these for free, its possible to reach out and gain more readers, who could possibly buy the next edition in the series or merchandise. But overall, it's about trying to spread your influence and doing some good.

Total: $0 ebook, $3 + shipping for hard copy.

Host a Sign-anza~ Get a large group of local writers and rent out a space together cheaply, then post all over social media there is a mega book signing, try to get a news station or a journalist to promote it, and have a Sign-anza! Sign books and sell books with other authors that are doing the same thing, like Comic Con but for writers! This could be a big hit as all the other authors fans and readers will come and could buy your books too! Plus the more writers, the cheaper the rent fee, and if you're money savvy or know someone with a business, its possible to even get a place free!

Total: $0 for the money savvy, $10-25 for a booth.

Advertise~ This is where all the money you saved on the previous list gets to go toward! This could mean getting local newspapers to promote you, paying other writers to give you a shout out or review you, or even use Youtube as a means of advertisement. As long as it works for you, your advertisement could be anything. But you have to make sure it does work for you, similar genre, interests, and passion all all things to take into account when trying to advertise. When I was advertising, I used Fiverr to get as much out of my budget as I could, I ended up spending $25 and getting so many readers and customers from the Gigs I used!

Total: $65 (the rest of your $100 budget should be pour into here)

Overall Total: $100! Most of the lists were free, and the ones that needed paying could be done for cheap prices! This $100 book budget can be reached and still give you the best seller you dreamed of! I hope you enjoyed my blogs and us your own $100 book budget!
